Rakki and Sanjay learn about endangered sea turtles from Chandrasiri, who runs the hatchery that his father and Rakki's father founded to conserve them. Or rather, he ran it until it was swept away by the waves. It was his means of support and employed dozens of others as well.

Newly hatched turtles are released into the Indian Ocean at sunset.
