Dear Parents and Friends of MIS,
For the past five years, the Private School Tuition Tax credit has helped me give over 100 children the opportunity to attend Montessori International School. I gave scholarships to children who would not have otherwise been given a chance to flourish in the Montessori environment due to financial hardship. When you make a contribution to support financial aid for a private school, Arizona law gives you a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $825 for married couples and $500 for single individuals. This means that you can take part in giving deserving children an excellent Montessori education at no cost to yourself.
Contributions are due by the end of the year. To participate, simply fill out the tax credit form and mail it to the office. It is our goal to continue providing the best possible environment for our students, where each child will develop a love of learning. Since the state reimburses you with a tax credit, in effect you are designating where a portion of your tax dollars go. Many businesses will also match employee donations; please ask your employer.
I would like to thank our parents and friends who have participated over the years. Without you, we would not have been able to help so many children benefit from the learning environment and methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
